1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:
Real Certified 1970 Chevelle SS 396 L34 350 HP Super Sport with factory 4 Speed. This is a truly rare muscle car to find. This car has been certified by Mike Kaiser of Arizona Muscle Cars as a real SS L34 Factory 4 Speed 12 Bolt Posi rear end, RPO-ZL2 Functional Cowl Induction, RPO-D88 Stripes with C-60 Factory AC. This is a true code Cranberry Red 75 75 and factory code 756 Bucket seats. Also has the U-14 factory round Tach/Gauges. This is a super rare muscle car to find with these options. Hard to find a higher horse power SS with Factory Air and these options tied to the 4 speed transmission. This car is an extra hard find since it has 75% of the original factory paint still on the car. Very cool factory overspray and original stickers in the door jamb. It still has the original weatherstripping as well. All the gaps are nice as well since it has all the original sheet metal that I have been told and the doors shut great as well. I was told all the original engine parts were in the trunk so the previous owner had everything powder coated, repainted and restored in the engine bay to factory appearance. It looks very nice and original. I havent checked all the engine parts but did check the correct codes for the 350 HP and that the VIN numbers were matching to the VIN on the car. So hard to find a car with these options and to get a higher horsepower car with factory air and the desirable 4 speed. This is the most popular color combo as well. Just a great car as a future investment and to own. Lots has been done to the car with a restored frame and underside with the original factory red oxide floors. I have been told from some experts it is rare to find red oxide floors on chevelles. The underside looks very clean. The interior has had a new wiring harness installed but not completely hooked up. The headlights work as does the dash lights. The speedo and the tach are not hooked up but I was told they do work. The interior has the original rear seat but has had new front seat covers, headliner, door sills, carpet, door panels and window cranks. The dash is in very nice shape as well and there is no radio in the car currently. There is a new front bumper and brake booster. I am sure I am forgetting some things. The car runs, drives and sounds great with the new exhaust. The car also has a new gas tank which makes the underside even look nicer. I am listing it to see what happens. I have a big collection of muscle cars so just seeing what is out there. I know there are some collectors looking for original paint cars. The paint for being 47 years old is to bad but does have some wear on the hood, chips and some scratches. If you want a mint show car maybe you paint the car since all the other stuff has already been done. However it has a very cool original paint patina that makes the car really rare and draws a lot of attention at car shows. I have not found any rust anywhere on the car except a small surface rust spot on the drivers lower fender only noticeable when you get down to look under the car. The interior is overall very nice with most all being new and the trunk is nicely restored as well. I can text a video of the car running to all serious buyers. I will be listing some of my 1969 Camaro's and some Trans Ams I have between 1970-1978. Serious buyers can call me at 260-582-9296 or feel free to email me with any questions you may have. Possibly interested in a trade for a 2015 or newer Hell cat or scat pack challenger preferable all black may also trade some of my other muscle cars also for the challenger. Happy Bidding.
