1985 Chevrolet C-10 customized Additional Info:
I bought this truck around 7 years ago and imported it into Canada and currently resides in Ontario, across the border, about 50 miles from Buffalo New York. You will have no problem taking it back across the border if you need to as it came from the U.S. It is a very nice Rust Free vehicle, that was owned by a Professional Body man in North Carolina. He chopped the roof four inches, shaved it, tubbed it, dropped the front end four inches and the back six inches. The doors have door poppers that work and the handle on the tail gate was relocated to the inside. The sheet metal on the front is all new including new inner and outer fenders, new rad cradle, new cowl induction hood and new doors on the cab. The cab and bed are rust free and he spent a lot of time lining up the bed with the doors to get the lines to be perfectly straight. He took two rear inner fender wells and welded them together to tub the bed. It has customized roll pan bumpers on front and back as well as a custom grill. The body work is amazing and you can't tell where any of it happened. The engine is a relatively warmed over 350 with a Thumper camshaft and new timing chain and gears with new lifters as we. It has an air gap intake and a Holley 4 barrel. The Rad is new as well as the alternator and master cylinder with all new brake lines throughout. It has a Turbo 350 with a shift kit I believe. It ran when I bought it but I have in the meantime installed the new camshaft, had new heads built by a local speed shop, new intake and carb and have not had any time to get back to it. It has since sat for about 5 years. I hope to have some time next week to drain the gas tank, get some fresh gas in it and get it running again. It does have a new gas tank and sending unit as well. It has a new custom dual exhaust system installed by the local muffler shop which I have yet to hear myself. It has a new dash pad as well as an upgraded tilt steering wheel. There is a decent stereo that will go with it as well as a tach, etc. The bench seat has been reupholstered but it still needs door panels, headliner and cab upholstery. There is new grey cab carpet installed. All in all, it is in great shape and the underside is as clean as the topside. Unless you are a Professional Body man, if you bought a rust free pick up and had somebody complete all the alterations like this one it would cost you way more than my starting bid for sure. The obvious question is...why are you selling it.....To be honest, I am beginning to question that myself. It had been pushed to the back burner and literally buried in the garage. Now that it is unburied and cleaned up I am second guessing this decision. If it doesn't sell that will be quite alright and I will finish it and enjoy it this coming summer. If you have any questions please ask away. I have lots more pictures as well. It is listed locally in Canada and I reserve the right to cancel the auction if it sells locally, Thanks for looking.
