1986 Chevrolet Caprice Additional Info:

1986 Caprice wagon . If you grew up in the 70s and 80s like myself then you remember all the big familys had one of these . Car is fully loaded . Power brakes, power steering,power locks, power seats, air conditioning . The air conditioning was updated to R-134A and the compressor and evaporator were recently changed . It was blowing ice cold all summer . Everything in the car works except the radio . It comes on and off . Has a loose connection I am sure however whoever buys it most likely would want to update it to a more modern radio . The carb was rebuilt back in January just before I bought it and a tune up was done . All fluids are clean . Tires have plenty of tread left and the brakes stop well . This car also has a tow packageand the heavy duty brake and suspension system . The interior is very clean with minimal flaws . Good headliner and dash pad .Door panels and carpet and seats are in great shape . Even has original GM floor mats . All the lights work . I walked around and checked every light . The alternator is fine and a fresh new deca battery was recently installed . Don't see any leaks on this car . Does not burn up oil or smoke . Has a 2018 NJ inspection sticker on it . The body overall is descent . This car came from Florida and the paint on the roof is fading in several spots from the Florida Sun . The wood grain on most of the car is very good except for the back tail gate door . Its faded away and has a ding in the door . Replacement stick on sheets are available online and relatively inexpensive . This car has third row seating in the back . The power window in the back is fully functional . The nice big chrome bumpers are bright and sunny . Look really good . Good exhaust no leaks . Filler panels between the bumper and body are like new . Has roof racks as well .

I bought the car in Feb of this year however due to some health issues I am unable to keep all my cars and hobbys here . This is a clean wagon that does not need a full restoration . With some minor stuff / tlc this would be a awesome looking wagon . Its totally reliabl, fully functional and drivable the way it is . I bought this off the original owners son in law . He was selling it for his mother in law . Its reading 55k on it and the previous owner told me that's the correct mileage and it didn't clock over . Its nice and drives like a dream . I get a lot of compliments on it .
