1964 Chevrolet Corvette 375hp Additional Info:
Transistor ignition, code K66 and this vehicle is #1, first off assembly line with FI and TI.All complete matching numbers engine, M20 trans and 4.11 rear end.Factory chalk mark still on firewall, behind battery box.LOTS of interesting info about this car that makes it a VERY desirable collector car.For instance: Body flares and "Motion GT" front end done by "Brunos Corvettes" in Studio City, 1972, I have original Polaroid pictures. Along with third taillight added when flares and tail fin were done. Also, stinger '67 hood and side gills vent at same time. Original headlights are gone.House of Colors Candy Blue painted over factory silver -blue.Original dark blue interior. Silver blue was the factory original color. I have original Polaroid pictures showing car being done in 1972.San Fernando valley car delivered to Tom Carrell Chevrolet in San Fernando, only used as a cruiser on Van Nuys Blvd, never raced, and it's always been in the San Fernando Valley, Southern California it's entire life. Was stored in garage, on blocks, gas drained from tank and covered since 1982 until 5 years ago.I drive it a couple times a month to local car shows. Lots of looks and pictures and interest. All the options on this car from factory still on car original as it came off assembly line except for off road exhaust, long gone.Still has the original sintered metallic brake pads on the car, which i realize why. With the 4.11 gears, compression ratio and close ratio trans, you never need to use the brakes for stopping. Simply downshift to almost a stop.Factory options on this car fro factory are as follows:
K66 Transistorized ignition, there were only 70 ordered with the fuel injection engine package. And only a total of 552 ordered in 1964 on this first year for TI combined.L84 375 HP fuel injection 1,325 totalJ65 power brake package with sintered metallic pads, still original on car. 4,780A01 soft ray tinted windows, all windows 2,566back up lightsM20 close ratio trans only available with L84 packageCE 4.11 rear end has never been apartG81 positraction 4;11 gears 3,979F40 special suspension is on front and rear sway bars 15/16" front bar 82A31 power windows 2,618U69 am/fm radioN11 off road exhaust, long gone, side pipes were installed back in the 70's. 1,959
Original alternator not on car, but i have it, 42amp.Original water pump, not on car, but i have it.Original rubber windshield wiper inserts, not on car.I have the factory fuelie exhaust manifolds for this car too.Original interior, dark blue with original floor mats.Cragars are from 1972 and in pristine shape.I have steel wheels, no tires.Belongs in a museum or collection is what I've been told. Time to part with it and put money into retirement account. In 1982, my uncle rear ended a Superbird on Van Nuys blvd causing superficial fiberglass damage, not to mention ego damage. Car was brought home and put on blocks in the garage, never to be driven by him again. I have been the owner for 5 years and did the fiberglass repairs with my friend who knows fiberglass really well working with meyers manx dunebuggies. Pictures posted show before damage and after repairs were completed. Still need to be painted, this is where I have brought it to.

Some added notes I wanted to add about this amazing car. This Corvette has been in my family since 1970. It has never been up for sale publicy. My Uncle, who is still alive, had all the body work done in 1972. I have the original polaroid pictures as seen on this ad and are included with the car. He bought it from a gentleman, and I have his name for the new owner, when he was going into the Marines. This car is registered and fully owned by me.The original RX motor is still together, long block. Crank, rods, pistons, duntov cam and front timing cover have never been off the motor and are still in good shape. I installed a 400 small block, with Brodix aluminum heads, original baffled oil pan and all the fuel injection unit and parts are all original including air cleaner assy. and installed in car. I wanted it to look as original as possible at car shows. The side pipes and the rumpety cam makes this car turn heads and always get the thumbs up. I did this to protect the"RX" motor from getting damaged or hurt in any way.Being this is an unusually rare motor, only 70 produced, this motor is a huge value to this Corvette. Being that Bruno's also had his hands on this car is another big thing. Bruno was the George Barris in the Corvette world. If you add up that fact, along with all the options this car has, it quite possibly could be a 1 of less than 10 built. How many are remaining would be a great question. This 400 small block was built and dyno'd by QMP Performance in Chatsworth I have all receipts and dyno report. Motor has less than 1200 miles. I have driven only to local car shows.Full roller motor producing 456 hp and 486 ft. pounds of torque at around 4800 rpm. I was told this motor with the rods, crank and cam would be easily capable of 7000 rpm's and not be hurt.I have never had this motor over 5000 rpm. I also put in an NHRA approved flywheel and have the original stock one. All the original parts that I have go with car.The clock does not work, the three tail lights are all red, the back up lights wiring and socket are still there but not hooked up.I do have for sale locally, so I do reserve the right to cancel auction at any time.Thank you very much for your interest.
