You are bidding on a 1965 Corvair Convertible.
Selling my baby due to bad knee, I can not drive a stick any longer. Haven't driven it this year.
I will list all work done and work needed.
Runs good, body in great shape only 1 little area of rust by rear exhaust. (please see pic)Rocker panels solid, frame straight, never in a accident.56k original miles, odometer cable broke last yea, have not replaced it. I may have place less than 100 miles since then.
I have $14k in it.
Drives amazingly straight and smooth.
Front end seems tight. (never had a problem)
Power convertible top works great!
Brakes perfect.Emergency brake works.
New tires, battery, shocks, fuel pump, spark plugs, wires, coil and rebuilt all 4 carburetors. Includes cover.
Here what it needs: rear windows fogged (plastic), odometer cable, radio static. Yes, it leaks oil only from one area (it's a Corvair, those little O rings for the pushrods need replacement) Valve covers and oil pan gaskets are good.Small ding on rear bumper (quarter size) but chrome still on.
This a rare find in this condition, but it will need the work I mentioned above.
