1972 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

OK 1972 Chevy C-10 fans and collectors, Up for bids is this ONE OWNER 1972 Chevrolet C-10 4x4 Short Box Pickup. The original owner special ordered this truck just the way he wanted it. Factory Hugger Orange paint, Factory Power Disc Brakes, Factory Power Steering, Factory Air Conditioning, 4 Speed manual transmission, Factory Locking Rear End, Dealer installed front Warn electric winch, Factory Lock Out front hubs. He also added Cyclone headers and dual exhaust with turbo mufflers years later. The truck is wearing ALL of its original Hugger Orange paint it was born with and All original sheet metal so no bondo here!!! It has its share of small dings and scratches but is all original. Yes there is some rust also but its not horrible for a C-10 from 1972. The odometer shows 42,733 miles and the way the doors open and close could be the original miles but I have no way of knowing as the original owner passed away in 1998. The truck spent most its life in Colorado Springs, CO. where it was purchased new at Williams Chevrolet in Colorado Springs back on April 3rd 1972. I have the original owners packet with books and protect-o- plate. All the glass is good and original but the windshield is cracked. I purchased the truck from the Original owners daughter that drove the truck back from Colorado Springs, CO. after her Dads passing. She drove it for a year or so until the motor gave up when a rod let go in it. Its been sitting since the year 2000. Call Mike with any Questions you might have at 402-362-7938. I'm selling this on a NO RESERVE auction so the high bidder will be the new owner of this RARE TRUCK!!! This is only a three day auction so bid often and bid early so you don't miss out!!!!! Thanks for looking and HAPPY BIDDING!!!!

On Nov-11-17 at 09:16:00 PST, seller added the following information:

Here is some more information for those who have asked questions, The gear ratio in the rear end is 3.08, The original motor was replaced years ago. The engine in the truck now has had a rod let go and has not been on the road since 2000. There is some holes in the front part of the oil pan where the rod opened up but the block looks to be fine with no holes, The cab mounts are solid, will need cab corners, rockers, outer floor pans, and outer rocker supports. All in all just the parts that mostly rust on this year of truck. Thanks, Mike.
