1954' Chevy Half Ton Short Box
This truck was a 20 year build by a gentleman in Maine who purchased the body in the state of Oregon. He built the truck as he went along and it took 20 years to complete. The build was completed in late 2007. Unfortunately the owner had since passed and the family decided to sell the truck.
Now here is the info on this Beauty...The body is laser straight & rust free steel. All the oak wood and stainless inside box are also new. The paint is mint. The chrome is new and the stainless is excellent. The glass and seal 's all around the truck are new.

Under the hood is a GM 350 V8 engine and the trans is also a GM 350 Turbo Hydro. The rear end is from an early Camaro. The front has been clipped with also an early Camaro with power disc brakes. The rear brakes are drums. It has electric wipers, working cowl vent, new exterior handles as the new 54 mirrors dual mirrors. New fuel tanks with new sending unit. GM tilt steering wheel with a nice 58 Chevy impala steering wheel. New carpet, new door panels. Leather power bucket seat's. New tires on all four corners, dual exhaust with all new stainless mufflers. Exhaust sounds nice and throaty.Also Maine is a non title state pre 1994 i do have a maine registration with bill of sale.
The pictures do not do this truck justice...a must see in person!No disappointments. Better in person.

Here are a few needs which are very minor.(1) Speedometer cable needs replacing (i have new in the box).(2) No radio..........................................................(3) For some reason fuel gauge is not working properly..........
