1965 SS Chevelle Malibu

1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:

This 1965 Chevelle Malibu has been a part of a 10+ car collection that is currently being sold. This Chevelle has been stored in a heated showroom for the last 10-12 years.This car has been moderately restored to utilize the performance of modern components.
PAINT/FINISH:Tuxedo Black w/ red pin stripe. Pin stripe is hand panted and very sharp, offsets the mirror black nicely. Paint finish is flawless. All panels on the car are perfectly straight with no signs of patched panels, rust repair etc.
ENGINE:The engine is a 350 crate motor built almost entirely out of new parts. The 350 block has 4 bolt main caps for strength. The heads are excellent big valve cast iron performance varients. Intake manifold is a polished cast alumnium unit from Edelbrock. The carb is also an Edelbrock, Model 1406 with electric choke. The engine has Hedman Headers which matches up perfectly with a brand new exhaust. The ignition is from a modern HEI distributor that replaces the old points style one. The chrome alternator is a modern "1 Wire" replacement. The motor also has a high torque starter installed. A/C was added to the car. Aluminum Radiators have been installed to replace the copper ones.
BRAKES/TRANSMISSION/DRIVE:The brakes have been upgraded to front disc brakes with power assist and drilled rotors. The transmission has been upgraded to a TCI Turbo 350 automatic. The rear end is original - 10 bolt, with 3.08 gears and an open carrier. 15" Rally Wheels with BF Goodrich P215 65 R15's.
INTERIOR:The interior is very nice. Seats and carpet are in great condition. Upgraded steering column with tilt steering. Original N34 sport steering package. A/C unit. Upgraded stereo to a modern deck and 6x9 speakers
