1993 Chevrolet S-10 2WD Pickup V8 Conversion Additional Info:
V8 CHEVY STREET ROD, fun & reliable, drive anywhere, Top Quality Build! Over $11,300 in receipts!
1993 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, Standard Cab, Short Bed (6-ft.), 2WD.
Engine: '95 Chevy 5.7L (350) V8 TBI fuel injection.
Transmission: 700R4 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission, completely rebuilt.
I'm 72-years old, a retired mechanical engineer and business owner, and I built this truck in 2009 & 2010. It has been a very reliable daily driver ever since, and I have driven it over 19,000 miles since the conversion, including trips to Southern California and Northern California from Northern Nevada.
I have over $11,300 in receipts, plus the hundreds of hours I spent building it 6-years ago.
Includes a current SMOG CERTIFICATE and CLEAN NEVADA TITLE in my name, it's ready to register at your local DMV.
Original white paint with dark gray interior, Chevy S10 Blazer bucket seats. Delco AM-FM cassette radio with front & rear speakers. Heater only, no air conditioning.
Suspension upgrades include 2" lowering springs in front, 3" lowering springs in rear, Bilstein gas shocks front & rear, sway bars front & rear, traction bars in the rear. Many, many new parts throughout including Corvette aluminum radiator, new brakes, new (rebuilt) transmission, new steering ball-joints, tie-rods, wheel bearings, steering box, and new Costco battery. Wheels are 15x6 Camaro aluminum 5-spoke with 215/70-R15 tires in front, and 225/70-R15 tires in rear, all tires in great shape, deep tread.
The '95 Chevy 5.7L-V8 has 148,000 miles on it, the chassis has 266,100 miles (with only 19,000 miles on all new parts). I shortened the steering shaft 1-1/2" for more arm room for tall drivers, this greatly improved driving comfort in this standard cab pickup.
I have two more hot rod projects nearing completion, need to sell the S10-V8.
Price: $8,500.00 or offer.
