1989 Chevrolet Caprice Additional Info:
My mom bought this car in 1997, and I bought it from her five years ago. The transmission was rebuilt at around 95K miles, and has had semi synthetic fluid since. The A/C works great and still has R-12 refrigerant. I have a few extra cans to go with it, it takes about a can per year now. It has been very reliable transportation for my kids while in college out of state. It is a rather plain car without power windows, locks, or seats. It has an aftermarket Sony radio/cassette player. It had a new radiator several years ago. It has 235/75/15 tires, the rear ones are at least 80%, fronts 40%. It has a full size spare and jack. It has fuel injection. It makes a puff of smoke when it starts because of bad valve guide seals, but it uses very little oil. It has done this for years, and I never fixed it because it wasn't worth the trouble. It has good brakes front and back. I don't know of anything mechanically it needs. Call 740-502-4125 or email delucafuelproducts@gmail.com for more info.
