Up for auction is an absolutely immaculate 1984 Short Bed Chevy K10 Silverado 4x4. This truck is fully loaded, having every available option for the 1984 model year including power windows, power door locks, cruise control, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, intermittent windshield wipers, dual power fuel tanks, factory tow hooks and bumper guards, quartz electric clock, and AM/FM cassette factory radio. All of these options, aside from the clock which works intermittently, function flawlessly. The original AM/FM radio sounds excellent with crystal clear sound and still retains all of the original speakers throughout the cab. The interior has been completely restored and looks as new with a brand new dash, seat cover, headliner, and carpet set. The body is laser straight aside from a few minor dings and is completely rust free. The bed has had a rubber bed liner installed since new and shows very little wear with only a few small dings in the bed floor and is completely rust free as well. The doors, hood, and tailgate open and close like a new truck with no mis-alignment or sagging. The undercarriage is completely rust free and solid. The original 305 V8 remains in the truck and runs excellent. The motor has never been modified in any way and still retains the original exhaust manifolds with heat tube and the original 4 barrel Rochester carburetor. The original 700R4 overdrive transmission remains in the truck as well and shifts very smoothly. The original, unused 31x10.50x15 Uniroyal spare tire on the original rally wheel remains under the bed. This truck is extremely well documented and has the original 1984 Chevrolet owner’s manual, original Chevrolet warranty and owner assistance manual, original warranty work vin# labels, original pre-delivery inspection checklist and authorization form, 4x4 instruction sheet, original build sheet sticker, 1984 Chevrolet fuel efficiency disclosure from the EPA, and MIC General insurance coverage certificate. This truck runs, drives, and stops as it would have in 1984. The ride is very tight and extremely quiet. It is very mechanically sound and can be driven anywhere. The engine has plenty of power with no hesitation whatsoever. If you have any further questions please call 208-641-9852.
