What makes a top pedigree classic? Fuel-injected big block power? A butter-smooth body with something new to see on every inch? Every option you can imagine in the custom-built interior? A fully coordinated build where even places where most people don't see follow the color scheme? Well, it's all that and a lot more that makes this 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS pro touring a one-of-a-kind that you'll never forget.
No expense was spared in taking this pristine coupe to the ultimate level. Let's start with the most obvious part of this car, the spectacular paintwork. It took six months to get the paint and body in this condition, but it was absolutely worth it. If you're wondering why the Carmon Red Metallic and Savannah Metallic two-tone looks so premium, it's because these hues were borrowed from Porsche and Lexus. Even the pinstriping separating the colors is two-tone, and it's all part of a special placement to bring out the best in this coupe. The separation of the colors perfectly follows the Coke bottle styling and highlights the curves that were bought in for 1965. This kind of quality application has so much luster that it radiates shine better than most people's chrome. In fact, take a closer look at the form hugging bumpers. Instead of the traditional chrome these (and all the trim) have a brushed nickel finish. It gives the brightwork a deeper tone that perfectly complement both paint colors. And there are so many other custom details to pour over, like the custom billet grille with flush-mounted relocated headlights, the custom hood with subtle intake, shaved door handles, '58-style recessed roof, recessed taillights, and so much more. It's an all-around stunner on wheels. And speaking of wheels, those large Schott solid alloys could win awards all on their own with how they are painted to match the car and tuck under so nicely with the adjustable air ride suspension.
The moment you step inside you can tell this is a very thoughtful custom build. Carmon Red returns on the dash, center console, and door panels to give a very uniform feeling. And even the door jambs are correctly painted a feature only seen on the best customs. From the moment you lay eyes on those power-adjustable leather bucket seats, you know this is a modern ride. You have the best in comfort with the convenience of power windows, a padded armrest, Alpine AM/FM touchscreen stereo system, and modern R134a air conditioning all mounted in the custom center console. And more than luxurious, this is a true driver's machine. You feel it in the three-spoke steering wheel finished in brushed nickel and leather. Beyond that is a full set of AutoMeter gauges, including a very handy tach.
We know you already skipped ahead to the motor pics, and we don't blame you. That's a 454 cubic-inch V8 that has been given the same level of top-quality work as the rest of the car. So every component you can customize is either polished or specifically painted to match the car's color scheme. Plus, the level of professional installation with the high-quality paint on the fenders and firewall make the monster motor look neat and clean. And while the engine bay's presentation would be enough to win awards on its own, make sure to take a look at the undercarriage photos. The car is a true total package with a fully upgraded suspension that shines to grab attention. Plus, with the engine block, transmission, driveshaft, rear end, and the whole frame have been painted to coordinate with the exterior colors! You might think this custom coupe is too nice to take out on the road, but you'll be rewarded if you do. That's thanks to features such as fuel injection, a custom three reservoir radiator, a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, and Baer four-wheel disc brake package.
There's only 550 miles on this whole build, but you better believe it's won a ton of awards (26 so far.) This has so much of the best of everything that we don't even have room here to list it all call for all the details. You will not find a better '60s full-size Chevy pro touring restomod out there than this. Period. Call today!!!
