1978 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Type LT Additional Info:

This 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Type LT is a one owner car since 1983. The Camaro has a Jasper crate motor (350 cid) with polished Edelbrock Carb/intake manifold, polished pulley system, ceramic coated headers dual exhaust, modern wheels w/BFGoodrich KDW tires, carpeted trunk area, am/fm CDstereos/Blaupunkt speakers. Original transmission, rear end, most interior is original except headliner, dash pad and carpet. The factory options are power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, cruise control (not active) and air conditioning (not active). I have cared for this car since 1983 (high school) and have enjoyed projects such as front suspension rebuild, electrical system rebuild, and many small projects that were within my capabilities. There are some projects that remain- 1. factory air conditioning (or aftermarket-original included with purchase, compressor seal is bad) was next on the list but not done. 2. rocker panel replacement (new parts in box,included with purchase) not done. 3. Fuelgauge sending unit ground wire needs repair. This car is a good cruiser/car show/weekend driver. Never setup as a race/drag car. My Camaro has been garage kept for the last 16 years and is ready for a new home to be enjoyed as such. Not a concourse car but a great car!
