Up for sale is my 1970 SWB C10. No issues with the truck I'mjust getting bored and thinking of getting into something else. I've had this truck for about 3 years and I've taken very good care of it and put a lot of money into it.
If you're looking for one of these you know how hard it is to find one that's not junk. This ones not perfect, but overall it's pretty clean.
Text me with your email address if you want a walk around video of the truck running. 281-620-4527

The truck is overall a really clean truck for it's age. Itdoes have a couple very minor paint issues. When the previous owner shaved the side markers on either side of the bed, they didn't do a great job. You can still see where they used to be and the paint isn't great in these locations. The truck didn't have a tailgate when I bought it so I bought a tailgate off of LMC truck. It was originally shipped as some sort of black color that matched up to the truck pretty well since it was already matte black. However, it has faded a little bit over time. When it's clean it looks close to the rest of the truck but you can tell it's a little different. Other than that, the paint is very good on the rest of the truck (roof, sides, and hood) the. It's a matte blackwith red pin striping all around.
Mechanically this truck is solid. I've owned other hot rods in the past and have had hell with electrical issues, overheating issues, and whatever else you can expect from old hot rods. This truck has given me no mechanical or electrical issues. Itruns cool at 190 degrees and cruises down the highway at 70 MPH turning only 1500 RPM thanks to the 700R 4 speed tranny.
If I could think of anyoutstanding issues, I can think of about3 and they arevery minor.#1) the brakes are pretty soft. I have no problem driving it around because I'm used to them and only drive this truck on weekends, but they either need to be bled or booster might be getting old. #2) the headlights went out a few months ago. I haven't dug into this very far since I only drive it on weekends during the day, but there's probably a loose ground somewhere or fuse out. #3) The front shocks may need to be replaced. I've had no issues with the truck being soft up front just because like I've said, I drive this for pleasure on weekends. But I would say they probably need to be replaced if you plan to drive this truck over any sort of a rough terrain.
For the price I don't think you'll be disappointed. There are tons of C10s out there but I have not seen one like this in a while. The black exterior with red interior really makes this truck stand out. The interior is the best part of this truck and the reliability, sound, and stance of this truck will give you one heck of a weekend toy.
