1962 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:
I have listed this rare 1962 Chevy II Nova Station Wagon with only 82,694 miles on it for a local man with serious health issues and he cannot physically finish this extremely clean car. He had purchased it in 1994 from a man that had only used it for drag racing. As you can see from the photos there is no rust anywhere on this car and there are only a couple small patches professionally welded on the front floor pans. Other than the patches on the front floor pans, the body is all original on this car and has been finish sanded and ready for paint. The current owner did not like the color of this car, decided to disassemble it and change the paint color but cannot physically finish this project. The car is complete except for both bench seats and the hood has a fiberglass scoop cut into it. The custom wheels are from American Racing and all of the chrome has been painted as well. The motor is a very rare 1967 Camaro 327/350 HP which was boiled, honed, new rings, new bearings with the original crankshaft, rods, and pistons. The 202 (double hump) heads were completely rebuilt with new valves, springs, seats, and planed from a local machine shop. This motor is all finished, never been installed, and ready to use in this car. The block is #3903352 and the number on the right of the block is T0902HC. This motor was only used in 1967 and is extremely hard to find especially in this condition. I have all documentation to verify that this motor is a true 1967 Camaro 327/350 HP high output engine. The transmission is a Turbo 350 which has been built for drag racing and the rear axle has either 388 or 488 gears (not quite sure without pulling rear cover) which means it is geared really low for racing purposes. There is a complete dual exhaust on the car with header pipes coming off of the motor and the drive train is also complete. There are new door seals as well as 14-15 yards of custom pleated material and new carpet to be installed with the custom interior parts. The original headliner is black as well as the dash, instrument cluster, and all of the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks. All in all this is a very rare car to find especially in this condition and would make a fantastic street rod when finished. This car with all of the parts can be delivered for a reasonable fee here locally. A $500.00 deposit will be paid 24 hours after the auction has ended and the remaining balance will be paid with a certified U.S.P.S. money order. The title will be transferred after the funds have been verified by the U.S.P.S.. I have many more photos of this car/ motor and feel free to ask any questions.
