1958 Chevrolet apache 2wd stepside short bed with big rear window
Solid truck.
Have owned the truck since 2011 and bought it as a project.
Has never seen more than 20 miles since I've owned it.
Can see major flaws in the body and there is nothing extremely terrible but is rusted on passenger front inner fender and both rear cab corners. The previous owner tried to fix them with fiberglass and I never got around to fixing it correctly. The bed is from a different truck. Original bed had steel floor welded in and was smashed and rusted.
Has a Budlong racing motor which started out as a 350 and is balanced and blueprinted and an all around good motor which alone cost over $5000
Has turbo 400 transmission which leaks from the dipstick tube and I was told it was rebuilt when I purchased the truck but have no evdince of it.
Has the original rear end with rebuilt drum brakes all the way around
Newer magnaflow mufflers and exhaust
Has new American auto wire wiring which is 99% finished Rear lights are universal and make park lights come on with brakes. I believe it's because they were cheap Jeep lights. It does not have a radio and the wipers are not hooked up.
Lokar shifter
The original seat has been recovered in new vinyl and has new carpet from LMC
Brothers 1 piece side windows
New weatherstripping all the way around
Has original radiator which has been reconditioned
Newer tires with wheels have realistically less than 10 miles on them.
I have extra parts that come with the truck and I have the heater core and box which are not installed.
Unfortunately just don't have the time nor money
Truck is located in Richland Washington and is sold as is where is with no warranty.
