1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
You are looking at a 1957 Chevy Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop Sport Coupe. This is a Barn Find (actually it was in a 3 sided shed behind a garage but Barn Find sounds so much better than Shed Find!). This is a very solid project car with very minimal rust. I have a lot of photos of the underside of the car when I had it on the lift. There is very little rust. I believe it is all repairable without having to replace any panels except, maybe the rear panel between the trunk and the rear bumper. It could be repaired without replacing it. There are a very few very very small holes in the floor pan. This Bel Air is powered by what appears to be an early 60's 283 V8 engine along with a powerglide transmission. I recently found 2 of these 57 Bel Air hardtops where they had been sitting side by side in this shed for, I was told, more than 25 years. They looked almost like twins. He had started taking the chrome off of it to repaint it before he parked it and just never did get back around to working on it any more. I inventoried all of the parts and have found almost nothing missing. I have installed most of the outside chrome on the car to make it show better. There is almost no rust at all in the car. We have had it running since I got it and the engine sounds great. He had disassembled the dash to paint it and never got around to it. All of the parts for the dash are in the trunk. The outside was originally light Blue with Blue interior. It comes with an old but clear South Carolina title. This is a great project and one of the most awesome cars when restored that you will ever see! Give me a call at 1-864-313-2908 so we can talk about this awesome car. I can arrange shipping at your expense. In the last 50 years, I have shipped cars to almost every state in the United States and 33 foreign countries. I will only accept a $500 deposit with PayPal. The balance must be paid in cash, or by official verifiable bank funds or bank to bank wire transfer. I have the cars advertised locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. Remember, the best time in the world to purchase the vehicle you really like is BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES. Don't miss out on this project.
