1994 Chevrolet Caprice Additional Info:
Offered for sale is my 1994 Chevrolet Caprice 1A2 Police wagon. This is a extremely rare vehicle, as GM only made approximately 846 1A2 wagons from 1991 to 1994. 1995 had even less made and production ended mid 1995 with no more made after that. The 1A2 has all the 9C1 items that the sedan had, including the LT1 engine, 4L60E transmission, larger front and rear brakes, heavy duty suspension, radiator, transmission, specific police wheels with center caps, also green lifetime silicone hoses. My wagon has never been in police duty and was purchased in a large lot of vehicles by the state of Michigan to be distributed as needed. This one going to the school district. The underside is in very good shape, some scale, but no holes anywhere at all. Body is good overall with only one antennae hole in the roof for their 2 way radio, and the factory drivers side spotlight. Small rust spots with the rear pillars and else where, the rest is rust free. Paint is average and originally Arctic White and interior is Adriatic Blue. The quarter panels were done with factory panel sections to make the wagon both more usable and asthetically appeasing to the eye. Something GM should have done. Mechanically the car is in very good repair with recent brake work using GM rotors, tune up complete with GM new distributor etc.,fuel filter, temp sensor, EGR valve, head gaskets and other gaskets, and other parts such as wiper blades, rear lift gate struts etc. That being said about the only thing it needs yet besides being driven is the pan gasket shrank due to not being used and should be replaced. This is common on the LT1 any way. Interior is in very good shape and could use a cleaning. Dash has no cracks as the side panels as well. Drivers seat has been replaced with a Pro Copper fully adjustable special police seat. I have the original drivers seat if needed. I also have a replacement factory steering wheel for the one currently in there. It has the usual pieces missing. Changes to the wagon include a remote start theft alarm, aftermarket CD stereo radio with detachable face, drivers seat mentioned above, and the rear wheel well conversion also above. Tires are good with about a little less than half remaining. I do have a complete set of winter tires mounted on police wheels that are new and will sell separately if desired. Spotlight is updated with the new and current rubber handle and the Unity SO4 light head in Chrome plate. A vast improvement over the original light. This is your chance to own a piece of GM history and a true low mileage collectible wagon.
