1971 Chevrolet Impala Kingswood Additional Info:
Here is a 1971 Chevy Impala Kingswood Station Wagon. This running and driving wagon has a 400 Ci 2 barrel V8 motor and Turbo 350 AT Trans with only 105k miles. Power brakes and power steering work good-newer master cylinder. . Manual crank windows. Non AC. Power tailgate and rear window work. The previous owner has repainted the body and roof with a sprayer-not too bad thou-I was going to wet sand and clear coat and just driver her that way. The body is in good shape with some rust on the doglegs behind the back doors and rear wheels and the pass front lower fender has some rust too. The lower inner drivers side door has some rust too. The floors and rear under deck area are solid too. The spare tire well is starting to rust-a couple small holes. When I bought the car it was missing a lot of the interior panels that I replaced-they are mismatched in color. The original tailgate was rotted so I replaced that too with a 74 tailgate-the tailgate needs to be adjusted a little better. The carb was rebuilt about 4 years ago. She runs and drives good-the previous owner didn't drive it in the winter that's why she still looks good for a New England Chevy. Comes with a Connecticut Q-1 Bill of sale. the front seat cover was sooo bad that I had to replace it with a universal cover-missing the headrests. rear seat and some of the interior replacement panels were from the 74 that I also got the tailgate. It would make a great survivor-driver or resto project. These clamshell wagon are getting strong in the old car market-heres the chance to grab a 71 which is the hardest to find because of the 1971 autoworkers strike..with a little tlc she could be a nice driver.
