1973 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

For your consideration, this is a 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. One of only 4943 produced in 1973. This is a PROJECT CAR. Has been in clean storage since 1997. The original engine is long gone. In it's place is a 1970 Chevrolet 350 small block 3970010 block backed by a numbers matching M20 Muncie 4 speed transmission. The car is optioned with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning (not hooked up, not complete), AM-FM Stereo(not working), Tilt/Telescopic column & Power windows (slow).

First the positives:

The engine was rebuilt in 2002. It is now a 355. It was bored, balanced, 9 to 1 pistons, a Comp cam (262/270 ), Aluminum PRO heads, Performer intake and a Holley carb and fuel pump. It has stainless steel calipers & new rotors, the rear suspension appears to had been done and a fiberglass rear spring was added along with all 4 shocks and 4 new tires (OLD NOW THOUGH). All this work was done about 15 years ago. I do have some of the receipts for the work done.

It has the original jack & handle and the original Firestone 500 spare tire.

The negatives are:

Needs a new top, carpets, door panels & seat covers, front bumper. Oil pressure gauge don't work (I will include another). Missing items include: Rear view mirror, sun visors, original shifter. The door metal is rusted, but I have 2 coupe doors you can have to patch with, needs a new power valve for the power steering. I am sure there is more issues with it, but these are the ones I have found so far. Frame appears solid.

This car was owned for 28 years from the gentleman I got it from. Hasn't been on the road in about 6 years. It can be driven on YOUR trailer/transport. Very fair reserve is in place. Please don't ask what it is.
