1994 Chevrolet Corvette ZR 1 Additional Info:

1994 Corvette ZR 1 with under 31,500 miles. One of 448 manufactured in 1994. One of 63 with Torch Red exterior and black interior. Known as the King of the Hill, it was (is) the fastest American production road car of the 20th Century and maintains its 24 hour endurance record.
This car has no body or mechanical issues. Excellent glossy paint and black leather interior. Original windshield has slight haze (delamination) on the edges, but much, much less than the other cars I looked at when buying this car in 2013. No advance on the haze since then Adult driven, some may say old fogey driven, only by me. In rain once since I owned it. Car was state inspected in March.
New battery and oil change in March of this year. Nitto tires have 5000 miles on them (2013). Radio/CD player rebuilt by Dr. Don in Texas. Four wheel alignment in 2016. While the 1994's did not have the ethanol problems that earlier Z's had, have only used non ethanol 93 octane since I have owned it. As recommended, using only Mobil One High Mileage 10W40 which has extra zinc.
Car comes with factory manuals and original owner's manual. Have reproduction window sticker and build sheets from Chevrolet. Spare maintenance items include oil filters, gas filter, 180 thermostat, and spare relay. Transparent 2nd top included. ...also Covercraft front bra. Also have as much history as I could find (owners /location, maintenance).
Has Haibeck chip (eliminates the skip shift and has 205 degree fan turn on) and raises the horsepower to about 425. This car performs and shifts just as it did when it came off the production line, perhaps better with the extra HP. Remember each of these engines were dynoed before they were shipped to Bowling Green for final assembly of the car.Haggerty estimates worth (retail) at $28,000 (excellent condition with 2nd top). Kelly Blue Book has trade in value at $23,300 to $27,200 with point estimate at $25,200. Needless to say, a Chevrolet dealer in Raleigh really, really low balled me, thus this auction.
This has been a fun car to own and drive. It just goes. Very easy to drive, slippery smooth, no cantankerous attitude. The LT 5 engine has the wow factor at the car shows. Visually, it is just a piece of art. ...and with the endurance run, it has proven to be bullet proof.
Sold another classic car and want to put the monies together and get a new/used C7 Grand Sport. (do not want to go through seller's remorse although I still might)
Buyer responsible for shipping. Buyer must have PayPal and a good eBay record.
Late news: Went to local Chevy dealer today. Bad news; Air condition blows hot. (In the 4 years I have owned never used air, don't know last time it was engage, suspect no fluid). Good news, lowest price 1994 ZR 1 in a 900 mile radius. Sales manager says a great deal for someone what you are askingヤ
The car is advertised locally and may be withdrawn from auction at any time.
Car is located in eastern NC and inspections are welcome. Specific pictures let me know. Encourage you to call and chat to get comfortable with me and the car before making an offer or buy it know. Contact: 252 940 0086
