1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport Additional Info:
Selling my Wife's, yes it is her car, a 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS white with blue interior. Bucket seat floor shift car. The interior is really nice and completely original! It's not the ugly burgundycolor LOL so even better. The blue bucket seat interior was only available in 1984 and this car still has the factory rubber floor mats. Fun fact this car was actually a radio delete car from the factory. The original owner ordered it this way and later had an Alpine pull out radio installed (remember those!?!?) along with some rear 6x9 speakers. This is the reason the antenna is on the left rear quarter. It now has a Kenwood CD Player, Rockford Fosgate 6x9s and Power Bass 3.5" speakers installed. The only modifications to the car include Eibach lowering springs installed in 1989, a Hooker 2.5" cat back exhaust installed in 2012 with Dynomax mufflers, and the air pump has been removed. The tires are like new with good tread and are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's 235/60R15 fronts and 275/60R15 rears on the stock steel wheels. I have been through this car front to back over the past 5 years. A/C system is new and functions well. Engine is the factory 305 V8, transmission is a TH350, and the rear axle is a GM 7.5" 10 bolt with a 3.42 gear. Power steering pump is new. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc. Brand new Interstate battery. Coolant has been flushed, Oil changed, suspension is tight, brakes are good, no squeaks or rattles, etc. When my wife and I test drove the car before we bought it I drove it less than a mile and turned around. I have owned several G-body's and this Monte drives like a dream. Only reason for selling is that is sits we never drive it. What good is it just sitting in a garage, it deserves to be seen and driven.
1st owner was California resident for 20 years, and has been garaged in Kansas ever since. Lots of new parts you will not be disappointed. We have a folder of service records and repairs from day one. The top half of the car has been painted as well as both bumper covers. The paint on the sides of the car is original as are all the stripes. There are detailed pictures in the listing. I had the passenger side B-pillar repaired by my paint guy 3 years ago. Where the paint was blended from the top to the bottom was scary looking when we got the car. He sanded it down, back taped the panel then painted and burned the edges in. This car presents itself very well especially for its age and mileage. Don't let the mileage scare you it could pass for a 21K mile car!!!
This is an exceptionally clean Monte you would be hard pressed to find a nicer all around 33 year old vehicle. It is a blank canvas ready for someone to make it their own.
Vehicle is for sale locally I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. Please do not waste our time and we will not waste yours. Thank you!
