1971 Chevy Impala Convertible Project Car

I purchased the car last year at an estate sale from theoriginal owner and had intentions ofrestoring it but I don't have the time because of work andfamily.
Rarest of the big Chevy convertibles made between 71-75. Probably the most desired of the years because of the louvered vents on the trunk. Car needs work. Car has surface rust and body filler in the quarter panels. Trunk and floor are solid with a little rust. The frame is solid. Convertible top works at times and has small tears along the sides of it, rear glass window is in goodcondition. Currently has a running 400 sbc motor and the transmission shifts and the brakes work. Windshield does have a crack at the top left corner please look at the pictures. Interior seats can use work and the gasgaugeisn't working so I fill it up every 3 days. There are no leaks. Allelectrical and lights work. Thechrome bumpers are in decent shape. I have been driving the car forthe last couple of weeks and is driving pretty good for a car of its age. NO RESERVE auction! Do your research this car is VERY hard to find! You can find 72, 73, 74 and 75 Caprice convertibles everywhere but not this 71 Impala.
