1965 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
Up for auction is my 1965 c10 custom cab short bed truck. I put this truck together as my daily driver. The truck came from North Carolina, The body is in good shape for a 65. I spent the last several months putting the truck together as a reliable daily driver. I first had a 283 built with all new parts by a professional engine builder. Engine is bored 60 over with all new pistons, heads are redone with heavier valve springs for the 480 lift cam. I installed a 327 4 barrel intake in place of the original 2 barrel. Also new Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor. I wanted the engine compartment to look stock. While the engine was being built I restored the engine compartment and repainted it in semi gloss black urethane paint. When I installed the engine I also put in a 5 speed transmission in place of the original 3 speed. I wanted the truck to be able to cruise down the highway at low rpm's on long trips. I also installed a heavy duty radiator and a new factory style fan shroud. I also replaced the engine compartment wiring harness. I have also replaced all the suspension with CPP components. Including 5 lug conversion and front disc brakes. The front is 5 1/2" drop with 2 1/2 dropped spindles and 3" drop springs. The rear is 6" drop with 5" springs and 1" blocks. Also new ball joints, tie rod ends, And idler arm. The wheels are new 17" American Racing torque thrust and the tires are Michelin's. This is a great reliable truck and I have been driving it every day since I got it on the road. This is a great truck and gets tons of attention. I get complements on it all the time. It has a great look and the stance is great. It sounds great! You can call me with any questions at 717-490-4851 or email through Ebay
