1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 Frame-Off Restoration Additional Info:

This is a really special, one of a kind, right-hand drive, ex-South African farm truck! That is why the VIN will not be recognized as a US VIN. I was living in South Africa for 15 years. We found this on a farm in South Africa and did a full frame-off restoration. Kept it original, but rebuilt everything from engine, brakes, transmission, stainless steel exhaust, interior, all new rubber, etc. I then brought it back to the US when I returned. This is a real head turner. Everyone does a double take when they see me on the right hand side of a Chevrolet! Take this to the car show and be a true standout! It is currently in the shop getting the transmission rebuilt. So I will take engine pics soon and add them. I hate to sell this beauty, but my wife and I are buying a new house and all my collector's cars must go! Please see other listings. P.S. While I have finished this in a classic look, I am also in the process of lowering the truck 3" and putting new Coker Wide Whitewall tires with Smoothie rims on. It is currently in the garage having this done. It is easy to swap over depending on the look you want. I am including pictures of a red truck (NOT MY TRUCK) for inspiration purposes. Actually, I saw this truck and it inspired me to do the same on my own.
