1952 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
1952 chevy 3100 half ton short box. This truck came out of Anaheim,CA. About 7 years ago, it is a rock solid short box with a aluminum service box that will make a bitchin shop truck! The drivetrain has been gone through. It has a 216 six with a split header and new duel exhaust that sounds great. The original exhaust manifold does go with, 3 speed on the tree runs like new. Carb was gone through, belt and hoses are new, has new wiringharness, new grill, blinkers, headlights, 1950 pontiac taillights, new factory gages (speedometer seems a little off and fuel gage does not work) new ignition switch, new windshield, rear window, new chrome for the hood, all the break shoes, drums, wheel cylinders are new, master cylinder was rebuilt, it has brand new preproduction bf goodrich silver town 6.00-16 coker tires. I have the ladder racks that go on it I took them off because it looks way better, truck is still 6 volts it could use heavier battery cables but it starts good, it has a chrome crappy oil pan it has a small leak. I have a felpro gasget for it but was looking for a oem oil pan before I changed it. (No big deal) the paint is not bad on it it's not perfect by all means but looks ok. I bought this from my buddies wife 2 years ago he was going to change the color and took paint off drivers door and fender and then was killed on a motorcycle. I just have not got around to paint it. But that is why it is like that. Clean Michigan title in my name. I will answer any questions honestly and take pics of anything anyone wants to see. This would make a very cool John Deere service truck or pin striper shop truck, hot rod or promotional vehicle
