1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS Additional Info:
This car runs, rides, and drives nice. It is turn-key, ready to go. It is a nice highway and city cruiser. It has just the right amount of power to play with when needed as well. I bought it a little over 2 years ago and have enjoyed diving it since. It had sat in storage for about 15 years prior to me buying it. I've replaced engine/transmission seals (mainly some leaky O-rings from sitting in storage in a dry climate), the windshield, T-top seals, T-tops, the radio, and bought brand new tires for it just last year.
The paint and interior is all original. The headers and exhaust were new when I got it. The A/C blows ice cold. It blows colder than all my new cars combined. The Original 305 V-8 was nicely modified by the previous owner. It has 325 HP, 340 ft lbs torque and Edelbrock E-Tech Aluminum heads. The transmission works great. The EFI was replaced with a brand new Holley 780 CFM Carb. The distributor, intake, fuel pump, water pump, etc...are all recently replaced...either by me or the previous owner. The stereo is powered by aSony MEX-XB100BT (CDs, Bluetooth, Etc...) and dual 12-inch woofers/Amp in the back.
If I could keep it I would. I have enjoyed driving it for the past 2 years and just don't have the time for it any longer. It took me 6-months of going back and forth, but I'm ready to pass it on to someone else to enjoy.
