Here is anopportunity to own a rare, powerfullybuilt and beautifully restored 1964 Chevy Nova.
ThisNova's early race car heritage and build were described in a feature article in the February 2014 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines (copies available from Hemmings).Several recent improvements have been made to make it an even nice, better handling ride.A new Speedway Mustang ll independent front suspension was added with manual disc brakes and rack and pinion steering to replace the prior straight axle, drum brakes, recirculating ball steeringand leaf spring set up. With these improvements and four new tires it now handleswelland goes fast!
In addition the powerfully built 350 engine received a new milder cam, rebuilt 650CFM Holley carb andstainless steelheaders. Power now flows through a new, throatyFlowmaster dual exhaust.
While these changes make this Nova a more street friendly ride thereis still plenty of serious race car feel through the heavy dutyracing clutch, four speed Muncie M21 transmission, Hurst floor shifter and massive12 bolt posi-traction differential (3.90 /1 ratio) with Moser axles.
