1961 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier Additional Info:
Up for sale is a good running Chevy ramp side Corvair. this truck had the usual 95 hp engine swapped out for a 110 hp, it starts and runs every time, it runs almost like a new car, it doesn't leak and it makes a good amount of power for "110 hp". it has a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts very well, its an easy manual transmission to drive. the car is quiet and also quite capable of being driven at reasonably high speeds on the freeway, you wont feel out of place going with the flow of traffic. The brakes are 4 wheel drums, they stop the car reasonably well and are in good condition, the car comes with new drums and shoes, they were purchased when I acquired the truck, it doesn't seem to need the brakes done so they haven't been installed as of yet. It rides comfortably and the shocks seem to be in adequate condition, they may need replaced soon but they seem to work well enough. handling is surprisingly good considering the corvair's reputation for being a widow maker. there is no significant rust on the truck, some minor rust behind the front wheel wells and that seems to be it, the bed sides were cut down before i purchased the truck (previous owner was going to convert it into a stake bed). I believe that just about covers everything, message me with any specific questions and ill do my best to answer them, thanks.
