1989 Chevrolet S-10 Tahoe Additional Info:
1989 S10 pickup. Pretty much original, been well taken care of. Looks good. Ill try to describe the details as best as I can.4.3 V6 with auto trans. 200100 miles. It is lowered about 3" front with spindles and 1/2 coil cut, and 3" rear with one leaf removed and 2" blocks. It was repainted on 1-8-1993 under warranty for the paint peeling, as far as I know, its the only body work ever done.Tires are like new except for one has a chunck out of the tread from something I ran over. 15X7 Rally wheels, new trim rings. The entire front end is new...tie rods, center link, idler arm, ball joints, bushings, brake pads, coil springs, alignment. It runs fine but not perfect, idles a little rough sometimes. Probably needs the throttle body cleaned or overhauled. Cap, rotor, and plugs, and fuel filter are fairly new. Drives fine though, I have been driving it to work for over 6 months.Interior is good, just a stain from spilled coffee on the seat, I didn't really try to clean it yet. Like all S10's the headliner material fell off, and the dome light doesn't work. But it has map lights on the rear view mirror that do work. The turn signal lever is cracked (picture) but still works fine. Someone drilled holes in the dash ?? left of the steering wheel. (picture)Exterior looks great, but has one scrape on the passenger side, (picture) its about 12" long on the door and also 12" long on the bed side. Because of the light color of the paint, its not super noticeable. There is more scratches around, like on the tailgate and top of the bed rails. I put on pictures of the worst damage. Has a Blazer rear bumper. There is holes drilled in top of the bed rails from bolting on a canopy, (picture) witch also caused the clear coat on top of the bed rails to peel when it was removed. Inside the bed is straight, just has the paint rubbed from a plastic bed liner.Comes with Belltech dropped coils and leafs that I removed, the last 2 pictures are from before I took these parts out and its a lot lower, at looks a lot better. (Whoops)AC does not work, compressor wont kick on.Shifter indicator is off one notch, points at R when in N, for example.Gas gauge is a little off, if it gets around 1/8 tank, you run out.Drivers side seat belt buckle does not work (the side with the button), i just use the one for the middle. Please ask if you have any questions.
