1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Additional Info:

1956 Chevy Bel Air, 2 Door Post
I AM RELISTING THIS CAR AS I BELIEVE THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED THAT THIS CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN ON A DAILY BASIS BECAUSE OF THE MOTOR CHANGE AND UPGRADES. THIS CAR CAN ABSOLUTELY BE DRIVEN DAILY WITHOUT ANY ISSUES.
THIS IS A FANTASTIC CAR AND I WANT TO SEE IT GO TO A GOOD HOME. WE BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNERS WITH THE INTENT TO KEEP AND DRIVE BUT WE HAVE MANY OTHER PROJECTS THAT WE HAVE AND WANT TO GET THEM FINISHED UP. WE HAVE OUR 1933 PLYMOUTH COUPE, 1966 IMPALA AND 1954 CHEVY BEL AIR AND JUST DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO FINISH ALL AND DON'T WANT THIS WONDERFUL 1956 CHEVY BEL AIR TO JUST SIT AND GO DOWN HILL!!!!
WE PUT THESE RIMS AND TIRES ON IT BECAUSE IT'S A LOOK THAT WE LIKE, BUT BY ALL MEANS IT IS NOT A RACE CAR. UP UNTIL RECENTLY WE HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN DRIVING IT DAILY.
It was built in the early 1970's. Has all original sheet metal body, in extremely good shape. It had been a one family owned car from 1956 to 2015, when we bought it.
It was well stored from 1972-2015 and only has 46,283 original miles on it.
The only thing we have done to the 56 was change the motor, master cylinder and wheels. It's a 383 small block Chevy 10.1 Comp .502/292 comp cam, comp roller rockers, power glide transmission.
All of the lights work, including the interior lights.
The doors shut very nicely and do not need to be slammed to latch!!!
It has stock brakes, pumpkin style rear end with 3.73 gears.
Car is originally from South Central Oklahoma.
We do have the front bumper!
The floor pans/trunk pans are just about 99% rust free.
Car runs and drives good!
The interior was done in 1972 in Mexico on the original owner's honeymoon. Unfortunately on the drive home the 327 that was in it got hot and cracked the head. They had to have it towed home and at that point put it in inside storage where it set for over 40 years.
It is not 100% perfect but when you consider the age, it's beyond 100% perfect.
