1972 Chevrolet C-10 K10 Additional Info:

My name is Clay and I own a car lot called 505 Motorsports in Farmington New Mexico. We recently acquired this beautiful 72 Chevy K10 short wide 4x4. We are very honest with our listings and have 100% perfect feed back. I will answer every question and every phone call or text in regards to this truck. My personal cell is (505)402-1558. Please don't waste my time or your time if you are not serious about buying or can not pay for the truck. I do not have financing available for this truck but there are several on line finance companies who will finance classics.
Now for the Truck:We acquired this truck from a local person who did most of the work himself or had the work done locally. The truck is VERY nice and runs perfect. The 350 motor is said to be a fresh build and visually looking at the engine I would agree. This truck has sat on my showroom floor for 3 weeks without being started. There is not one drip of any type of fluid (I guarantee). The truck has a turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission that shifts seamlessly. 4x4 works and the locking hubs engage as they should. Power steering, power brakes, and.... Wait for it.... The Air conditioning actually works! How many people say their trucks have A/C?? What they don't tell you is they really don't work. Our A/C blows COLD! The CST round gauges all work including the Tach and the gas gauge. The mileage on the odometer is actual miles and verified by the title. The only thing I would have done differently inside the truck is repaint the door panels. The panels are original and show some discoloring. I have no problems doing that if the new buyer would like. The only reason I have not is the new owner may want a different color than I would choose. The seat is fresh diamond stitch tuck and roll. The seat pad is brand new and sits very high. There is a small scratch on the seat from someone's jeans sliding across the seat. The scratch is about the size of a pea (very small but I want no surprises).
Now let's talk about the paint and body. I am told this truck has been in New Mexico for around 30 years. The metal on the truck is perfect and very straight. The paint is new and very impressive. The color is called Mystic and was used by ford for a few years on their SVT mustangs. The paint is base coat clear coat with gold metal flake. The truck literally changes colors depending on the lighting. As you walk around the truck you will see anything from root beer, green, purple, black, gold, even some dark red. The mystic paint is extremely expensive and difficult to spray evenly. Trust me when I say this paint job was professionally done! There was no corner cutting on this job. The entire cab was stripped bare and pained inside and the door jams. I have not seen any amature paint work on this beauty. All door gaps and bed gaps are perfect. No door slamming or lifting the door to close. The frame has been painted but there are signs of actually driving the truck. I would replace the shocks just for cosmetic reasons. The truck is very tight with very little rattle. All ball joints and tie rods look recently replaced. The 33" BFGs are near new and look good on the old school center line rims.
I can go on and on about the condition of the truck. The only flaws I can see are a few spots on the front bumper where the chrome is rubbed off and a small hole in the metal near the radiator support up front. I am available to phone calls or even Skype or face time so you can see the specifics for yourself. I have a 4 minute walk around downloaded here from YouTube.
I know these trucks very well and have 2 other short wide K10s available to discuss. I am very honest and will put in writing that if I am not representing this truck to be true I will return your money and take the truck back. I believe my listings will speak for themselves and you will not be mislead. I have this truck listed locally for $24,900. I think this quality of truck and its rarity should be worth $25-$30k. Bid with confidence. I will end auction early to the right buyer. Don't wait til the last minute. If you are serious about this truck jump on it quickly. I promise this will only be listed one time on eBay. Mecum auction is my next stop if it doesn't sell.Thank you for looking!
