1965 Chevrolet C-60 Custom Car Hauler

I am listing this special car hauler for a friend of mine here in Rockwall, Texas. This rig was used by his uncle in the 1980s and into the 1990s hauling old cars. It has been sitting since the late 1990s and ran when it was parked. The carburetor has been removed off the original 292 inline big six otherwise the truck looks to be complete throughout. Make no mistake, this is a full blown project truck, however I think you can get her going without a whole lot of work. I like this flatbed RAW, just like it sits. It would be very cool to get it running, address the brakes, and haul a classic car just like she looks. The VIN plate is intact and legible, the title is a clear Texas title. I pulled my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee up on this hauler for a size comparison. I had several feet more I could have pulled up. This will haul any sized old car or newer vehicles. The ramps pull out and are heavy duty, again see photos. There is a place for a winch near the front of the trailer. The Jeep is NOT included with this auction. I repeat the Jeep is NOT included in this auction.

The cab is overall solid. There is solid floor rust, but the pans are original throughout. The old truck is really straight except for a couple dentsnear the headlights, see in the photos. The cab corners are intact as are the drip rails. There is some underneath the drivers door near the front. Again, play the video and you'll get a real good look all over this truck.

The dash and gauges are all intact. There is an aftermarket temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge that have been utilized in the past. The bench seating was recovered in the past. The doors and headliner have original paint on them along with the dash. The original visor is also in place.

Under the hood is the original 292 cubic inch inline-6. When the truck was last parked it was running and driving. The carburetor has been removed and I don't know if its around, but I might find it somewhere in the truck. Otherwise, this engine compartment looks to be all there, including the original heavy duty air cleaner. The transmission was shifting fine when parked. This rig was parked and has been sitting for several years, it has been rolled around and moved to mow, etc. It does steer and all the tires hold air.
