1970 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:

1970 Prostreet/protouring nova. This build has taken over ten years and sadly we need to sell just prior to its completion. The car is equipped with a Steve Morris 540 with only the best parts used. You can watch the dunk video if you google "Steve Morris mark Manicki." The car makes 1568 horsepower. The chassis was professionally built at Alston race cars in Antioch, Illinois. It consists of mild Steel bars and will cert to 8.50. The front clip is a Chris Alston chassisworks unit with polished stainless steel a-arms, ball joint covers, and manual rack. It is a full back half car with black powder coated tin, a fabricated 9inch ford with 35 spline axels and 4.30 gears in the full strange center section. There are wilwood cross drilled and vented rotors on all four corners along with a wilwood dual tandem master cylinder. The trans is a th400 built to handle this beast with many billet upgrades, along with a transbrake and Neil chance racing torque converter. The car has fresh professional silver ice metallic paint. All the trim is new or freshly painted, all purchased from gm goodmark. The body panels on the car are all solid original or nos replacements, so no surprises under the paint, it's all there! The engine is equipped with an F2 procharger, with an air to air intercooled. A lot of money was spent at the chassis shop to make the intercooler and the piping fit, you will never see another nova like this that's for sure! The piping was just polished to a mirror finish. The car has a monster radiator from PRC, and a polished trans cooler and fuel cooler from PRC to match. The front frame rails need to be painted since the chassiswork was done to make room for the intercooler. The underside of the car is painted with a rhino lining type paint, it looks very clean. 4 inch exhaust has been fabricated into two 4 inch spintexh mufflers. The car has 18 inch Boyd coddibgton wheels up front and 20 inch Boyd coddibgton f09s in the back. The tires on the front are the Goodyears with flame tread while the rear are the same flame tread from Mickey Thompson. The car needs the electrical and plumbing completed, I have all of the fittings, painless wiring kit and wore looms to complete this task. I also just purchased a race pak unit with gps speedometer and boost guage. I also have a brand new set of afco shocks for the rear. The only fiberglass on the car is the hood and rear bumper. The door handles are shaved, I have the door poppers but they need to be installed with the wiring. I have about 100 grand in this build, the only parts needed to complete this build are a driveshaft, shifter, interior door panels, carpet, ignition box/cool, and drivers side mirror (the painter cut the cord off of the one I had to adjust the mirror and broke mine).
