This is a very cool and great running street rod that will not break the bank. Perfect for the guy that wants a car that is turn key ready. Older build from the 70's thatstill looks great.
Body: Straight and rust free. I cannot find anyareas on the body where there was patch panel work done. Very nice floor pans and trunk pan. One little rust area on drivers sidefrom rocker panel. You can not see it unless you get down really low. Paint is very nice with just a few minor blemishes. Glass is very good and windows roll up and downvery easily. Chrome is very nice driver quality.
Drive line: Rebuilt 1992 Chevy 4 bolt main 350 small block bored .030 over. 292 lift cam. 1.5 roller rockers. Dual quad intake. 350 Turbo trans with B&M 2500 stall converter. Mid 1950s Pontiac rear end with 3:70 gears. Not sure of the horse power, but this car is actually quite fast. Areal sleeper.
Chasis: Stock frame with 1969 Camaro sub frame. Disc brakes upfront. Drum rears. The graft job on the sub frame appears to be professionally done. Very nice welds. The tires fit in the wheel wells very well. Manual brakes and steering.
Interior: Very nicely redone and it has the original headliner, which is in good shape. The vinyl is heavy duty and feels similar to real leather. Allgauges work including speedometer. Wipers work. Tilt /telescopic Cadillac steering column. It has someplay in the tilt function, but it is safe to drive. Newstreet rod custom columns are less than $200. now, so that would be the way I'd go. Has heat but no A/C.
All in all, this is a very solid and cool older street rod build that still looks great and is very dependable.
