1972 Chevy C10 Short Bed Fleetside V8
New 2 tone Black & White paint, new 20" chrome REV wheels and tires, new custom seat upholstery, new carpet, new custom embroidered floor mats, new billet steering wheel, justrebuilt the front end with new steering box, idler arm, upper and lower ball joints and tie rod ends, complete with a front end alignment, all new weather stripping on the doors, all the glass and vent windows, new window regulators, new front windshield, new Chrome door handles, new dual mufflers, new glove box, new rear chrome bumper, new billet grill, new fuel sending unit, new chrome mirrors, new front headlights, new tail lights and all marker lights, the truck has two new front fenders and rocker panels with cab corners installed at the time of paint and body work. The bed is really solid and has a sprayed in bed liner. There is only heat in the truck, No A/C... There is no radio in the truck and the dash is factory and has not been cut up, so you could install a retro sound radio if you like. All the gauges, lights and blinkers work work, even the fuel gauge!
The motor is the original V8 that runs strong and was originally three on the tree but someone put it in the floorboard with a chrome Hurst shifter before I got it. She has power front disc brakes so she stops great! I put the correct Hurst shifter knob on the truck for the 3 speed gears. Just installed New CPP lowering springs with new shocks, so she handles great and was lowered the correct way!!!
The last thing I was going to do was pull the original motor and do an LS swap that's why I have not done anything with the motor, but it runs and drives great if you wanted to use it as a daily driver, all you would need to do is throw some paint and chrome on it! I have put a couple hundred miles on the truck since I finished it. The only thing that it could probably use right now is a carburetor tune up. It is not a $50,000 show truck, but it is a super nice daily driver or shop truck if someone is looking for an awesome truck without breaking the bank... The truck could use a professional to cut and buff the paint if you want a really slick and smooth finish! I built the truck to be driven and not a trailer queen.
