1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Monte carlo Additional Info:
Hello Monte Carlo Fans,
It's time for me to part with my 1972 Monte Carlo. I've owned the car for the past 4 years.
It is a rare factory color option in 1972 of triple black.
I believe this to be a numbers matching car with the Original 402 BB engine, carb and the original Turbo 400 transmission. It's a solid, reliable, running engine with no issues. No leaks, no noises, rattles or knocks. Never over heats and purrs. She's a blast to drive and gets a ton of waves/looks going down the road.
It has factory AC, bucket seats and yes, the center horseshoe shiftier.
The interior is a good solid 8 out of 10. A new headliner and carpet.
I have the service records dating back well past the 90s when the car had less than 55k miles. It's been a GA car its entire life.
I purchased this 4 years ago from an older couple in North GA, they would take it to Monte Carlo First Gen car shows, local drive ins and other regional car shows. It has been painted once; the same factory black and looks better than a factory paint job.
I had new window seals, window sweeps and rebuilt internals on all windows completed.
A new vinyl top, installed, the factory black color, from OPGI, it looks great, these have been know to bubble, no you will not see bubbles on this car and the top flawless.
The rear bumper has been re-chromed to show quality
New headliner from OPGI
New Carpet from OPGI
New Mirrors from OPGI
All new side moldings in wheels wheels
New key and lock set from OPGI
New Hood insulation, Hood springs, and hood latch
New door hinges, 4 professionally installed doors hinges. The doors don't sag like you see on most and shut square and correct
New Fuel pump
New rear springs
new rear air shocks
New brake master cylinder from Year One
New Front windshield glass and seals
New dash pad
New Trunk mat with spare and jack
All window trim is mounted tight/ correctly and polished nicely.
The rear wheels have been widened
It has a mild cam and sounds great with the newer Dual exhaust, feeding in to Flowmasters
This Monte has zero rust, zero damage and is ready to hit the road.
A/C worked last year but is not all that cool, it needs to be charged
Call or text me for additional details and pictures.
The car is located in Cumming/Gainesville, GA off Hwy 400.
I have the clean and clear title in my name along with current registration.
I'm free to answer any questions you my have and can text/email more pictures.
