Calling all C3 Corvette enthusiast!! Here is a perfect project Stingray!
Having a baby soon and need to renovate my home which has motivated me to offer my beloved 1975 Stingray up for sale. It has a 350ci V8, L48 with 63,000 "original miles! It has a 4speed manual Borg Warner transmission. I have tones of labor and money into this car, believe me! Lots & lots of new parts and performance upgrades. Plus your going to get a lot of new parts still in boxes which will go with the car. This car is a "Number Matching" car. 90% of this stingray is original with the exception of the performance front suspension. Yes it runs perfectly but I currently have the fuel tank out. I'll have the new fuel tank installed and car running when car is sold. Being the perfectionist that I am, I replaced or restored any part under this car that had any surface rust. I did not touch the rear end because I had not gotten to it. This car unlike lots of other projects isnt all ripped apart. The dash is all original and intact. The turn signals work, wipers work, lights go up and down excellent. The doors and the glass are intact. The power windows work. The heat works and has brand new heater core and hoses. The A/C condenser is currently out of the car but all the rest of the A/C parts are there. The windshield was taken out for two reasons, one- because it had a crack in the windshield, two- because I wanted to check to see if the pillars were in good condition. And the pillars were solid thankfully. The rear glass is out but will go with car. The obvious work that needs to be done is the paint. But most of the hard work was done as you can see. I stripped the whole car down with fiberglass paint remover which seemed to take forever to do. I even repaired some of the obvious small cracks in the fiber glass along the front and rear wheel wells. I also fitted and installed the front nose which is fiber glass. It looks better and fits better then OE. I planned on doing the same to the rear bumper cap as well but again, I have not gotten to it. I do have all the retainers and hardware to install a new one. I have a polyurethane rear bumper cap and will go with car, but I wasn't planning on installing it. You may keep it or get a fiberglass cap on your own-your choice. Here is a list of work done...
**ALL NEW**
New radiator, heater core, all new hoses, A/C radiator, brakes, calipers, cross drilled rotors, stainless steel brake lines, water pump, plugs, ignition wires and cap, alternator, belts, master brake cylinder, brake valve, body mounts & bolts, power steering pump & valve, pit arm, steering box, tie rod ends etc, QA1 adjustable coil-overs, Global West tubular A-arms-upper & lower, BF Goodrich tires, Look at those wheels!!! I get lots of compliments on those wheels it isn't funny.
The car will come with a huge lot of new and original parts.
New tail lights, new complete carpet kit, new side mirror & door handles, new OEM "corvette" emblem for rear bumper, bumper retainers, new rear view mirror with map light, new battery, new (orange) oil pan with gaskets and hardware,
I'm sure I'm forgetting other new parts but your getting all of it!
I have all the OE rear interior trim parts in boxes, rear glass, door sills, t-tops & comes with a very nice used set of t-tops all intact, hood hinges, all hardware for tops, windshield bright work trim, and all other parts that were taken off car will go with this sale. All said and done you my end up with spare parts because I have a lot of extras that I bought.
Do I have to sell? No, but I'd like to see this car go to someone who can get this car back on the road and done. Returning this iconic car back to its glory was my dream. If I cant get what I have into it I may just hold onto it. After all its a classic C3 Stingray and this car is a good investment no matter how you look at it. Thanks for looking and please don't hesitate to inbox me if you have any questions.
I have a clear New York state title in my name
