Low reserve !!!!!!!!
Here we have a true Rare find 1970 SS Chevelle the car was ordered as a 454 with the LS6 Aluminum heads option 4spd 12 bolt rear end Pw Steering, front disk brakes, tilt whee, and SS interior option bucket seats, rally dash ect when ordered from the factory but Unfortunnally bill sheet is long gone and no way to prove my facts but every indication shows it is a real SS car miles are excempt.
This car was raced since new and then retired in early 90’s has been in a garage for last 20yrs or so it was occasionally started fromtime to time but stored away. The original owner was going to restore the car and started the processbut unfortunnally health issues set in then passed way. We found the car by word of mouth and wepurchased the car witch was coveredwithdustand was raise off the floor and stored very neatly in a dry storage garagewhen found we pulled out and then we clean it to see what we got.
What we found is a very solid& restorable carwestarted looking to see what the car is aboutfirst the drive line was replaced through out the years the 12 bolt is long gone replaced with a 9’’ with N case harden HD axel, Heavy duty south side lower control arm, and was fabricated to go back to the stock location of the12 bolt rear end and not butchered which was done correctly the 4spd trans we where told it was aM21 as far as we know? is still there was rebuilt at some point the 454 is a 1972 block was all rebuilt not many miles on i, but not original to the car the Heads we realized they where factory aluminum Chevy heads what a rare find to our surprise and that is theonly thing that still is original and has survive on the car today witch are
#3946074 rect open 118cc ZL-1 L88 and are super rare !! Worth a lot .
The interior was redone at some point in the last 7yrs and very clean the car was painted many years ago paint is old and tired it needs restored the body is very solid not perfect with some blisters here there very restorabl, trunk is super nice no rust floor pans solid. Has all factory gauges but currently not working nor the head light, brake lights work turn signals work just needs tinkering from sitting so long could use a new engine harness and head light harness to do it right there just old brittle from age $300 to buy new easy fix.
As for the engine we change the oil new plugs went through the carb and cleaned it even though it was new and check all fluids added new gas fired right up smoke a little then cleared out runs perfect. The engine has forged piston 11 to , steel cran, and heavy duty rods it was built right we where told a lot of money was spent on the engine and no one would have put these heads on the car unless the engine was done right sounds mean have video of the car running I can text you.
We purchased the car the way you see itas is !! selling it the same way we have not owned it long and the information we found was through people who new the original owner that’s all we got and that is all we can tell you and no more sold as is !! and yes it is worth restoring there is 15,000 ++ just in high performance parts alone on the car these cars are just going up and as for the low reserve we have on it well worth it this is a 50,000 +++ car when restored .
I explained the car to the best of my ability to what I know and I am very honest my feed back speaks for itself so bid only if you are serious sold as is ask questions before you bid. There will be a 250.00 Pay Pal deposit is required within 24hrs of auction Any question call possible trade !440 376-9531
