I am offering my original survivor 1965 Chevy C10 Custom 1/2 ton long bed truck for sale. It has the large rear glass and stainless side trim. It is not running. Mileage is 73695 but I cannot prove it. It has not been restored. It is a survivor and retains its original paint...what’s left of it. It is not running.
The interior is original but worn. The windshield glass is broken.
The body panels are original including the doors and hood. The paint has faded. There has never been any significant body damage. The bed is original and shot as seen in the photos. The truck has spent the bulk of its life in Texas east of Dallas. The frame and out riggers are solid. There is minimal rust in the floors as seen in the photos. There is rust on the lower edges of the front fenders. There is a dent on the top of the cab toward the rear
The engine is a 283 8 cyl. The Carter 4 bbl carburetor that came with the car is heavily oxidized. I have not tried to get it running but the engine turns over easily by hand. The block has been decked so the pad is blank. I cannot guarantee it is the original engine. It has a 2 speed Power Glide. The rear end is 12 bolt. The truck came with factory air conditioning. There are still factory marks on the firewall as seen.
I have a clear Kansas antique title in my name.
This is an unusual truck with the custom cab, Power Glide and factory air conditioning. The no reserve opening bid is less than my investment. Ask any question and I will do my best to answer it honestly. My Ebay feedback supports this. I want this car to go to a good home and I want the buyer to be happy with the purchase. I have many photos and I am willing to take more. I will have over 100 photos posted on Photo bucket. Contact me for the link. It will be available for inspection by appointment during the auction. Ideally, it should be inspected prior to purchase like any other car. There may have been concerns not mentioned that I have forgotten . The car is sold “as is, where is” without guarantee written or implied. The car will be picked up at my house and trailered since it is not running. I will not deliver. I require $200.00 down payment within 24 hours and the balance in 5 days. The car must be picked up within 30 days. It will not leave here until satisfactory payment has been made. If you cannot meet these requests, please do not bid. Thanks for your interest.
