1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
"MISS PIGGY" You are bidding on a 6.0 LS powered 1949 Chevy Truck named 'MISS PIGGY'. This is sitting on a 2002 3/4 ton chevy frame with a LS 6.0, 4l80e, and 4 wheel drive. It has 4 wheel disc brakes with all new calipers. Power steering and hydro boost brakes. If you have ever had hydro boost brakes you dont want vacuum again. The gauges are from the 2002 and set in the old truck dash nice, and they all work. So the Message center and all warning lights all will still work. It even has a trans temp gauge. This has been used for a little bit of work since we built it. Pulling a trailer, hauling cars, hauling hay, hauling steel, and hauling BUTT!! We put all new glass in it. The windows roll up and down good and the doors open and shut good also. We built the flatbed to fit the truck. We wanted a wooden insert top for the non skid surface. Its treated 2x10. They are curling some from the sun, but flatten back down after a rain. Take the wood out and put in steel if you rather. The cab floor is a truck bed rubber mat. Its sweet for muddy boots for us rough necks. The tires and wheels have maybe 500 miles on them. 20x12 with 33x12.50x20 XT tires. We have not yet hooked up the headlights in the truck or any of the front bumper lights. Also the 4wd switch wont light up so you cant select 4wd. I have not looked into it. It could be a fuse, the switch, or maybe the 4wd actuator on the front differential. Not sure. But everything is from the 2002 Chevy. The wiring harness, steering column, gauges, ecm, engine, trans, frame, ect. So you can plug a scanner into it and read codes if you have a problem with it. It even has cruise control although I havnt tried it yet, just never thought to try it. It also has a DVD player with 4 new speakers installed. It worked when we first hooked it up, now it reads "miswiring". Probably something simple, id rather listen to the cold air intake, tires on the road and that 6.0. I got this truck going and started using it for a little work and never looked back. If you want a slick truck then keep looking. This thing still has a little rust and dents. Its not a slick body but I wanted something I can abuse a little. So if you want a something different that you can use and work then here you go. We did put all new floors in the truck though. 859-585-2659 if you want to call or text about it. NO TRADES. Clean clear new KY title in my name ready to go.
