1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
First off thank you for looking at my posting! I am looking to sell my beautiful 1957 Chevrolet One-Fifty. The car is located in Southern Illinois. As you can see from the pictures of the body, the frame and the undercarriage, they are in really great shape and the few places that are not, in great shape, have been highlighted in the photos. This car has been modified from the original straight six with the 3 on the tree to a Big Block 496 matched up with a T5 out of 91 Chevy Camaro. The Big Block was built for power, but runs off pump gas and still gets 12mpg. To get that big boy to fit the headers were cut so it is running open header pipe. It is as loud as can be, but even when it had exhaust and mufflers on, the motor was loud. The transmission is a 5-speed and has a new hydraulic clutch matched up to a brand new 10.5" Mcleod clutch. To get enough stopping power for this beast I redid the front end and installed new spindles and disc brakes. Right now I am trying to time and tune the motor to get it out on the road for a driving check, but have not gotten it just right yet. As I progress on that I will update this posting, but feel free to make an offer before I have it on the road driving. You might just catch me when I'm really ready to get rid of her!
