1964 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:
As much as I don't want to sell my wagon I need to fund another build. This is a great start to a show car or just keep it as a driver. My plan was to completely rebuild the car with a new front clip and a LS swap, but plans change. I will list all of the items I have completed on the car and the extras that come with it.
Items replaced/fixed
- Replaced the floors on both sides of the tunnel from toe board to rear seat.
- Rebuilt carburetor
- Installed an internal regulated alternator to remove external regulator box
- Built and installed custom sub frame connectors
- Installed CPP mini subframe kit with tubular upper and lower control arms
- New inner and outer tie rods
- Installed CPP front disc brakes
- Installed CPP power brake booster
- Rebuilt rear drum brakes with all new components
- Installed all new brake lines
- Built custom adapter plates to move front seat back 1.5 inches back for more leg room
- Replaced all seals/wipers/and track in tailgate for rear window
- Add 2" drop blocks to rear and cut one coil in front
- New shocks in front and air shocks in back for ride height adjustment if needed.
- Added a VDO tach in place of clock in instrument cluster
- Added Addco Front (1") and Rear (3/4") sway bars
- Replaced factory 14" wheels with 15x6 in front and 15x7 in rear with spider caps
- Swapped out headlights for Sylvania XtraVision seal beams.
- Added child seat anchors (Child seats will clip in back seat just like modern cars)
Extras included with car
- Unisteer power rack conversion kit (includes polished power steering pump& steel braided lines)
- Bowtie Overdrive 200r4 crossmember
- Numerous other items (hood installation, door hinges, rocker trim, etc)
- Original 14" wheels
This is a factory AC and power steering car. The AC does work, but needs charged. Please let me know if you have any question or need additional pictures.
