1965 Chevrolet Malibu malibu Additional Info:
Recently my partner and I acquired 3 Chevys from a master mechanic. This wagon was his daily driver and fired right up. It has a great journal where he detailed every little thing. Changes to the carb are neatly listed, the addition of a posi rear end, new mufflers, new tires, oil changes, you name it. He started the log book in 82 and took it up till 1994 when he ran out of space and must've started a new one. The wagon was painted however the trim was never installed. The trim is all here and looks magnificent. The rubber is good, the engine runs great and when you hit it, the thing launches and both tires fry. It has some spots of rust that a great body guy will need a few days with. I think the paint is ok but the trim is well preserved and it wants a re-spray. The front buckets are complimented by a console/lockbox made from a military ammo container. Its a solid job and adds to the character of this tough wagon. My friends have been ecstatic about this car and everyone seems to have an old school story about an old school wagon. Get on the nostalgia train and grab this chevy before its gone. harris.
