1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:
This beauty took over 5 years in the making, it is an ORIGINAL block, with BUILT sheet to prove authenticity!! It was taken apar, placed on a rotisserie,(Photo's available) and an extensive nut and bolt restoration! Used ARP stainless bolts where possible and then every bolt was replaced and or reworked! The Original block,( has the 114593 stamped on it), was bored 30 over, adding slightly raised Keith Black pistons, roller rockers, hydraulic lifters, new seals, Aluminum heads, (have Original heads), mild Comp cam, MSD distributor and and high performance Blaster coil, Holly 650CFM carburetor,(per Summit Racing) and bought there. NGK V-power resistor spark plugs, Cowl induction works properly. Aluminum intake long ceramic coated headers with 3" aluminum exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers! Aluminum four core radiator. Stainless exhaust tips, stainless exhaust clamps, QA-1 Coil overs on the front, (have front ceramic coated springs available also), rear springs were ceramic coated, new shocks on rear. It is an air condition car from the factory and to this day it still is! Disc brakes all around, posi chunk added,( Auburn 5420106 gear, limited slip). (Have original non posi chunk), Excel ring and pinion, I have all the receipts for everything!!! It has a 4 speed year dated, not matching Muncie transmission. Inside of frame was coated with Eastwood internal frame coating. Frame was sand blasted an two coats of Black Shell rust bullet, Like POR 15. One coat silver top coat black! Underneath the car was scraped, cleaned and resurfaced with Eastwood Rubberized rust Encapsulator. Stainless steel gas and brake lines, mounted with stainless nuts and bolts. Painless wiring and fuse panel upgrade. Air condition compressor upgraded, (have original one if wanted). Interior is all like original but upgraded, gauges are original but were sent off and reworked like new,(the amp gauge doesn't work with the upgraded 100amp alternator,(max 65 amps back in the day). No way to adapt the amp gauge and it be accurate! 300 Watts, USB,MP3/WMA playback, Custom auto sound AM/FM radio, digital clock, has connections for CD changer It has six speakers, (two kick panel, two on rear deck and two under front dash, it was a stereo not mono radio from factory! FOOSE Rims. New glass, headliner, carpet, seats came with the car but had more foam added and reworked as needed !! Body was Blocked numerous times and painted with three coats of Diamont Basecoat and five coats of Glamour clear coat. $700 a gallon!! Buffed several times as you can see it is beautiful, The orange has pearl in it and the stripes are pearl with a touch of the orange added. I have the codes!! Trunk was scrapped, treated with rust dissolve and refinished with the proper splatter for the year! Added extra in the trunk to dress it up. The black card board that goes behind the rear seat was cut to fit and moved into the trunk to make it look pristine. Insulation was placed under headliner, fire wall, and under carpet along with behind rear seat back and any where else it was needed. The proper plastic water barrier was placed behind the door panels. All glass was replaced with new. New seal, new felt, everywhere! Nothing has been overlooked!! Sold as is no warranties implied and being listed locally thus I can end this auction at any time. I have hundreds of pictures available for viewing along with videos! The eave drip stainless and SS rear bumper pad and front grill stainless along with front hood pins I have and parts will be added others will go with the car!! Anything else forgotten just ask!!
