1968 El Camino For sale is a freshly restored ground up 1968 Chevrolet El Camino. This vehicle is ready to go cruz'n on Saturday nights and visit your local shows. It has been meticulously restored and is an absolute gorgeous vehicle painted in Mineral gray with ghost black SS stripes. All the trim has been anodized black and the Boyd Coddington 17" custom wheels and bumpers have been painted to match! Stunning. The interior has been redone with first gen. Camaro seats in black imitation supple leather with double blue stitching along with the console being wrapped and double stitched it also has the center section & shifter handle hydro-dipped with a carbon fiber look along with the arm rests and door handles. The dash pad is brand new and the instrument package is an awesome Dakota Digital VHX setup with blue lighting and is a mind blow at night! The steering column was rebuilt and modified for a floor shift unit so no shift lever handle is evident and is topped off with a new Grant wheel. New door panels along with some custom blue stich to match and new suede headliner really compliment the beautiful interior. Behind the seats we have a custom-made speaker box full length that is also wrapped and stitched to match where the Alpine amp and Kicker sub-woofer are mounted. The kick panels in front were also custom made to hold the Alpine component 6" speakers and tweeters. The stereo unit is the classic look "RetroSound" Hermosa series digital MP3, Bluetooth, Pandora ready unit with hands free calling. The pounding sound will be sure to get you rocking in the seat and ready to hammer down on a fresh built Vortec head 350 ZZ crate motor loaded with new components including bearings, rings, HV oil pump, Comp Cams 268 Extreme energy cam, lifters, springs & retainers. The head guides were cut down and PC seals installed. The engine sounds as good as the stereo through new Hedman headers & dual exhaust so you will have to figure out which one to turn up the loudest! It is connected to a newly built 10 bolt 3.55 ratio POSI rear through a freshened turbo 400 with a shift kit and a Hughes GM25 street convertor along with new disc brakes in the rear giving this ride discs on all corners.! All 4 New 2016 & 2017 date code Toyo HP Extensa tires 225/50/17 & 245/45/17 Old car vintage AC unit with Sanden style R134 compressor kit & condenser unit installed, includes all new hoses and necessary components. This was a factory AC car so all interior air is through the OEM ducting. The car was very solid and minimal rust. No body or floor panels were replaced. The complete interior was shot with Lizard skin sound and heat minimizing material.
