1964 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:
Up for sale is my very clean and fully restored 1964 Chevy Nova 2 door sedan. This is a very sanitary car, not some junk built to sell hotrod! First off the car was completely disassembled and sandblasted and the trim holes were welded up by a professional body shop. The body is very straight and rust free! All of the body panels are original minus the 2" Goodmark steel cowl hood and front fenders. The car has been painted with PPG base/clear custom gunmetal gray. The entire car was color sanded and buffed for a very shiny and smooth finish. There are a few minor blems here and there from assembly, but overall shows very well. In the last two pics I am trying to show the worst paint defects. There is a chip/wear spot on the left front fender and a small spot on the trunk where the wrong color touch up paint was used.
The front suspension is a completely new TCI clip with 2" drop spindles, ridetech adjustable coilovers, big sway bar, power rack and pinion, aluminum inner fenders, and a Flaming River tilt steering column. The brakes are Corvette C5 brakes on 13"rotors on all four with a Wilwood 7/8 master cylinder. Up front are new 235/45/17 Nitto tires on Billet Specialties Street Lite 17X8 wheels with 285/40/17 on 17X9.5 back wheels.
The rear is a complete TCI torque arm suspension with a Curry ford 9 inch, 31 spline axles, Detroit True-trac posi unit, 3.70 gears, ridetech adjustable coilovers, rear sway bar, and sub frame connecters, mini tubbed frame. 3.5" driveshaft with 1350 u-joints. There is a new EFI gas tank from Tanks Inc with a Walbro 450 l/hr in tank fuel pump.
The all black full interior is completely redone with new door panels, glove box, locks, headliner, carpet, PUI seat covers and true SS front bucket seats. All new Shark Gauges, EZ wiring harness, and a B&M Pro stick shifter. All new glass seals and weather stripping except for the vent windows. Hella H4 Euro code headlights
The power comes from a fresh built LS 6.0 block now stroked to 408 cu/in, GM CNC LS3 heads, Luniti hyd roller cam, INT .600" EXH .600" Dur @.05 237/243. GM Performance Parts dual plane air gap intake, FAST EZ 2.0 EFI, truck serpentine brackets and belt, new hoses, new starter, new LS motor mounts, new radiator, new tranny cooler ect. The engine breathes through Stainless Works custom 1 3/4" headers and a custom mandrel bent dual 3" inch exhuast system with two big Magnaflow mufflers. The Nova sounds great with a deep rumble! The transmission is a freshly built 4L80E with a Pro Torque billet converter and a TCI Auto EZ TCI transmission controller. There is a Twist Machine paddle shifter integrated into the steering column (see last pic) if you want to manually shift gears, very cool! The engine has a dyno sheet from Kim Barr racing. I was just trying to break in the motor and get the timing curve set with the MSD controller so we did not try and to go much over 6,000 rpm but it still made awesome power. Mostly above 520 lb/tq and made 578 HP with plenty to spare had we wanted to push the upper rpm past 6,000.
Check out all the pics and call me if you have any questions 9724two4019six. I am sure there a few more things that I forgot. This car runs and drives great with power to spare. Gets thumbs up all the time and would make a great addition to your local cruise or car shows. There is well over 35K wrapped up in this car, but do to recent changes I must let it go. Pretty much everything on this Chevy Nova is new or rebuilt. There is less than 120 miles on everything. Insured, registered, and a clear Texas title in my name.
