First off let me say if you're looking for an extremely clean 4x4square body, garage kept, original truck this is it and you need to jump on it before someone else does. These k10s are rare in this shape. Most have been gotten a hold of to lift and turn into mud trucks. Not this ONE! It was a garage kept and barely driven for 15 years or so. For every 15 nice c10s there is one nice k10. If you think you're interested and would like to have it I would advise you to contact me via message on here asap and make arrangements before someone else does. I can provide my number through that if you would like better communication and would like to talk in detail about the truck
Here are some details of the truck:
This has been a frame off restoration with a bunch of money spent. Body has been taken off and has received a professional and expensive slickvictory red paint job that was done early this year so it is brand new. It was not a "maaco" respray, doors were taken off, exterior moldings, everything taped out, no over spray, multiple clear coats you name it. It was a multiple grand job and done right by one of the best paint shops in the area.Truck was also originally red and hasn't been changed. Frame has also been repainted factory black. You will be lucky to find a truck in this shape for what I'm asking. I have seen plenty in about the same shape go for 20+ so keep that in mind. I will not give this truck away with it being so nice and rare. Too much money has been put into it for me to do that. It has a clean title ready to go.
Engine/Trans/Miles:
Original sbc 350 and stout 700r4 transmission and they both run and shift like a dream. It is an outstanding cruiser. Motor has a very nice sounding cam in it and nice headers leading to a dual exhaust, andmotor, trans, transfer case have allbeen gone through, inspected, replaced fluidsand servicedduring resto.Truck itself has only 79xxx miles, and let me repeat,YES those are original and hasn't tripped over! I know the story on this truck and the owner before me very well compared to other people who don't know anything about their vehicle and claim 30k original miles or something when in all actuality its 130k.
Body/Exterior:
ABSOLUTELY NO rust, dings, dents, scratches anything you can dream of anywhere. Paint is new and was expensive. No rust was found/taken care of during the repaint. Its never had any in its life. Decision to repaint was made soley to give the truck a brand new look. People say not to alter an original barn find but again the goal in mind with this truck was to make it look brand spanking new and it does. It hasnew exterior molding, fender trim, weather moldings, etc. You will not find a nicer bodied truck, especially for a 4x4. Bed has a nicecoated bed liner in it. Pics do not do this truck justice! if you see it in person it would be very hard for you to leave without buying it!
Interior:
Exceptional interior, mostly original, and stacked out silverado package. Has a/c and heat that both blow cold and hot. Original radio works well. 4x4 works. Seat/carpet have no stains or rips. Power steering/disk-power brakes/ heavy duty steering. The list goes on and on. With the windows up it is extremely quiet, can barely hear motor or outside noises. I've never been in one of these that are this quiet. This was a resto but anything that was in good shape i.e. the interior for one being exceptional, was left alone. Originality was taken into consideration during the build. Wanted it to be nice but also show how well its been taken care of. 99% original untouched interior shows that.
Wheels/tires:
Brand spanking new heavy duty Cooper Discoverer tires wrapped around the original and refurbished rally wheels.
Underneath/exhaust/suspension:
You could just about eat off the underbody of this truck. As I mentioned above body was taken off, and everything mostly stripped and painted. Very nice dual exhaust that sounds mean with the cam and headers. New shocks on all four corners.
Two things that could use fixing:
Just recently speedo quit working correctly. It works but will peg and jump around randomly at higher speeds. Mileage still clicks, and I have traced it to the speedo itself being the problem, but I wanted to keep original mileage on it and not get a new speedo. Windshield has a small crack in upper right hand side of it. Have to look up to see it and is out of view.
Conclusion:
I have done my best to describe the truck in detail, but am sure I've missed some points. as it would take all day to list everything that's been done. All I can say is this has been a detail oriented put together truck. Little things like using stainless steel bolts in place of factory has taken place. It was an extremely well kept garage find and you'd have to see it in person to enjoy the beauty of it.
If you are interested, again, do not waste time, these things are hot and someone will buy this truck and it'll be gone. Anything I've ever sold on here has gone before the listing ended. With that being said, be respectful in negotiating with me and I will return the favor if you do decide to come look before listing ends. Do not ask me what my bottom dollar is, offer me half of what I'm asking, etc I've seen it all. I'd also prefer you not asking my reserve since it's auction. I guarantee you if you keep bidding you will eventually hit it. But I will say it is lower than many of these trucks I've seen go for.
My price is my price on this and to put together another one like it, how this one has been done, you'll prob have to spend more. This is set at bid, however, I like cash and it talks. We can discuss cash and see if we can come to an agreement on a price if you come to look. I will be glad to accommodate anyone travelling to best of my ability.
Thank you so much for looking and happy bidding! IF you decide to fully bid on the truck and take it past reserve that it sells. You can send me a small deposit, but full payment will be due in CASH in PERSON a week from auction close. Message me for inquiry's or would like to have a phone number to talk.Truck is located in Concord, NC
