1979 Chevy Silverado C10 Short Bed pickup.
This is an unrestored solid original truck from Alabama. The underside of this truck is clean and rust free, rockers, lower cab corners, fenders, hood and floors all rust free!Frame and suspension is clean, not pitted, rusty or crusty!The engine is the original V8 350 4 barrel carb and it runs great. Turbo 350 automatic transmission drives good and shifts as it should.Truck has been lowered using cut original coil springs in front, de-arched original rear leaf springs, new shocks front and rear.New 20" Ridler Wheels front and rear with new 295/40 rear tires and 265/45 front tires.New dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers sounds great.Rear sliding window.The A/C blows cold! I use this as a daily driver. The body has older patina paint job and the truck gets lots of looks everywhere it goes. Class 3 reliever so you can tow your Harley or whatever. Great shop truck, candidate for an EFI 5.3 swap, or restoration. It's not perfect and it's not a show but it's not $15k+ either. Just a cool 38 year old good running truck ready for someone to give it a little TLC.
Things it could use...All rubber weatherstrip has been sun baked and deterioratedDash is sun baked and dash trim has been cut for CD radio.Should be lowered correctly
