1957 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:

Let me explain myself before I get started on describing what I believe to be one of the neatest Chevrolet projects cars you will find. I’m not a dealer or someone who flips cars. I have only sold several of my own cars on eBay over the years and I sold one for a friend several months ago. I am listing this car for the widow of a friend who passed away recently. I don’t charge people. The only thing I get is a PayPal deposit and I pass the balance after selling expenses to the owner, the widow in this case. Then all sale proceeds go directly to the widow. I do the listings because I enjoy helping friends.

OK, how many ’57 Chevrolet sedan delivery cars are there out there? Probably surprisingly few and certainly far fewer than Bel Air convertibles, hardtops, Nomads. I should confess that I’m not very familiar with Chevrolets and especially sedan delivery cars.

This car was bought quite some time ago to become another great custom. It was partially disassembled, the interior stripped out, the engine and driveline removed, all done in the owner’s professional body shop. What rust that existed has been properly repaired including installation of a complete new floor pan. Parts includes among other things a new rear hatch. The car has always been inside since the owner bought it. A lot of the hard work in building a custom is already done. It might even be possible to restore it, but keep in mind, it is a shell. However, that shell has a clear title so registering the car when it’s ready for the road should be no problem.

I’m sorry about the scarcity of pictures. The car is in the far back (dark) corner of a large body shop. It is on an elevated frame so it was hard to get good pictures. I had just broken two toes on my left foot and I wasn’t much in to climbing. What pictures I have were taken on Saturday, June 10th. I will be happy to try to get more better pictures. Just ask me an eBay question.

Loading and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Advance notice for pick up is required to ensure that the car is placed for loading.

Please note that the mileage show is meaningless. eBay requires a number in that space to let the listing be made.
